continue Hyde amendment abortion restrictions.

Created by J.R. on September 22, 2011

The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2009 does not use Federal funds for abortion services (except in cases of rape or incest, or when the life of the woman would be endangered). This Act keeps current Hyde Amendment restrictions governing abortion policy.

Abortion is a women's issue, because in most cases two women are involved: the mother and the baby girl. Preventing abortions saves lives.

We ask the President to continue to enforce these restrictions, and we ask the Congress to avoid weakening them.
