Veterans have a right as established by case law of the court of veteran appeals to receive disability compensation as promised to them by the U.S. Government decades ago.
As such, disabled veterans are asking for protection under the Wounded Warrior Pay Protection Act which would protect ALL disabled veterans, not just those since 9/11/2001 who have a service connected disability of 100% for one or a combined total of 100% for more than one disability, and shall be retroactive. No disability pay shall be removed, reduced, or otherwise lowered for any reason once awarded. Disabled veterans shall also received social security disability for 100% service connected disabilities and shall NOT be subject to review once awarded and shall be retroactive for those already within the award system.
