Recognizing that there are many citizens in the great State of Montana that are also proud citizens of the USA, this petition is written to counteract the petition that calls for Montana to secede from the Union. Many of us - and probably most - would like to continue to receive the benefits that we now have from the Federal Government, including military and environmental protection, good highways, and old age assistance, to name a few. I urge those of you who are proud to be Americans to sign this.
