Stop the Marketplace Fairness Act. Retail sales over the internet should not be subject to taxes unless the purchaser has a physical presence in the state where the item is purchased.
1.The tax will hurt small businesses by increasing the cost of doing business.
2. The tax will decrease competition and as a result increased prices.
3.The act will result in the increase of purchases from venders outside of the United States.
4. The act will also result in the reduction of transactions which will hurt the economy.
