Continue the use of the A-10 Thunderbolt II as a combat air support aircraft that cannot be replaced by any aircraft

Created by A.D. on January 21, 2014

The A-10 thunderbolt II is on the chopping block for budget cuts and is being looked at to be replaced by the grossly over priced and under capable F-35A. Please support the push to keep this aircraft on active duty supporting our troops in the field and extend its life until the previous date of 2028. There are still TCTOs (Time Compliance Technical Orders) that dictate the A-10 have new, improved wings installed to remedy the wing cracks on the old warbird. Given these are completed, it would enhance the service life for decades to come. Especially with no suitable Combat Air Support (CAS) aircraft on the way to replace it; this essential gear of the American war machine needs to stay!
