Contract Surgeons at WRNMMC (MTF) given additional hours to work.

Since the BRAC transition from WRAMC to WRNMMC Bethesda, MD. Surgeons have had to work longer hours than their Contracts allowed. Contract Officers Representatives (COR) were not given Best Business Practices for their contracts prior to the move. No computer/phones were available upon arriving. Contracts ended and/or the funding not transition properly with the move. Surgeons told to "stop work" for our Wounded Warriors due to the funding not being available or the date of the contract ending. Told UAs. Patient appointments asked to be cancelled. Communication was not disseminated properly on training for CORs prior to the move. Moved 8/2011 - BRAC Final Shut down 9/15/2011. Our Wounded Warriors & families are worth an Executive Order for Contract/Surgeons during a BRAC Transition
