Contributions into Social Security be voluntary and increase the contribution to Medicare to 5% for 90% coverage age 65

Created by M.S. on March 28, 2014

Allow workers to contribute to Social Security on a voluntary basis up to 10% of their salary. Employer contribution would remain the same, benefits will increase or decrease based on contribution. People should have the right to determine if they want, need, or believe Social Security will be part of their retirement plan.

Increase the Medicare tax to 5% on the employee and employer side. By doing so, coverage will be 90% of all medical costs (instead of 80% currently) which provides additional security for seniors and less costs.
