GUN CONTROL / FREEDOM to bear arms...this issue should change to THE CONTROL OF AMMUNITION... proof of ownership of a legally registered gun MUST be presented BEFORE buying ammunition and control sale of all ammunition that fits any weapon. Background check to prove there are no mentally ill persons in household and anyone owning a legal weapon must provide a certificate from a doctor to prove saneability....ANYONE who buys ammunition for a gun of any kind must show proof of ownership and a mental certificate . Own all the guns you want... but it is the ammunition that kills... do you think an 18 year old gangbanger is going to register his AK47 or his STOLEN Glock 9 ? if he can't prove he owns the gun and have a mental certificate from a mental health doctor, he can't buy Ammunition!
