There is a huge issue in the U.S. with gun violence. The answer is to not take these millions of guns off of the street.
Citizens of this great country should be able to own any gun which they desire. Criminals have access to these weapons and so should law abiding Americans.
We need legislation controlling ammunition. ALL ammunition for all weapons, besides that which is commonly used in hunting should ONLY be legally sold at firing ranges. The ammunition purchased at said firing ranges could then only be used at the ranges.
Take the ammunition out of these deadly weapons except for those who just enjoy the sport of shooting and do so in a safe environment.
