The current administration is pushing back on any entitlement reform. Entitlements are new government programs that are often pushed through as "add ons" to bills being pushed through congress. They are programs that are often difficult to eliminate once they are enacted and create reliance by groups they support. These Entitlements are often used as political vises to gain support for political gain. This is deceitful by government and damaging to Americans who become reliant and demotivated by too much government assistance. Americans have grown and progressed by capitalistic incentives, not handouts.
