We petition the federal government to: 1) recognize arms as weapons that propel projectiles through the action of an explosive, and 2) consider a law restricting the sales of ammunition, which we define to include bullets, cartridges, rounds, magazines, and other projectiles that can cause bodily harm when fired from a gun. Ammunition should only be sold and used at locations designated for recreational use of guns. Operators of the designated areas will be held responsible for selling, managing, and regulating use of ammunition. This effort will contribute to a safer society, protecting individuals from the few users that abuse the right to bear arms while preserving constitutional rights for those that chose to possess arms.
