Convene the Congress Before October the 1st of 2012 to Tackle Tax Reform Before January the 1st of 2013

Created by J.L. on September 16, 2012

According to David Welna from National Public Radio, the House of Representatives and the Senate of the United States would essentially be in another recess in the form of "pro-forma" sessions starting on October the 1st to late November after the Presidential Elections. In all respect, this is unbelievably irresponsible considering how the Congress had a full-month recess throughout the Month of August; it is your Duty as the President as vested in Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution to convene to properly check and balance the Congress. We, the Citizenry, shall not be subject to either faction's interest during an election Year; we shall not be subject to record tax hikes and economic uncertainty for ourselves and our Posterity.
