Recently, an article was published that shows that members of the GOP actively decided to obstruct the Executive Branch of the United States.
Merriam Webster describes treason as the following:

: the offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign's family
It is the acts of members of the GOP and their failure or willingness to work with the current Executive branch administration that not only violate both the US Constitution but are the exact definition of treason.
