Elected leaders are there for one reason, to represent the best interests of the people they govern, not the large corporations or special interest groups. Over the past 6 years, the Republicans have shown increasing ineptness to govern, essentially waging a civil & economic war with the American people. The grievances include, but are not limited to:
1) getting us into 2 wars, driving up the deficit & collapsing this country's economy,
2) undermining President Obama's leadership & authority at every opportunity,
3) giving the rich more breaks, while burdening & cutting needed programs for average Americans, devastating the middle-class and increasing poverty.
For the country to heal & the people to prosper once again, we need a government free of Republican influence & oppression.
