Convene a televised commission to end gun violence in America and pass stronger gun control laws.

Created by R.C. on December 15, 2012

By televising the commission proceedings we will create a public record / public accountability of this life and death issue. We ask that President Obama assemble representatives from the White House, Senate, Congress, Supreme Court, CDC, gun violence victims, gun control advocates, law enforcement groups, the NRA and gun rights lobbyists all in one chamber. Every group will have the opportunity to present their case for or against stronger gun control laws. At the conclusion of the proceedings new, tougher and/or expired (Brady Bill) gun control laws should be presented to the congress & senate and voted on as stand alone bills. Under the spotlight of the commission, every member of congress will be on record for their vote and where their loyalties are on this life and death issue.
