The Pac&Atl Trash Dumps are world issues that none seem inclined to fix. This proposes a fix that may be both innovative and offer some cost recovery. The US has several mothballed carriers that are in need of continued (annual?) maintenance. Our floating "cities" could be put back into peaceful service and can stop the killing of marine life. 1. Mods to carrier - Convert NSFO to bio-fuel; modify elevator(s) to retrieve trash from sea surface (rotating grate?) depositing on conveyered sorting tables in hangar deck (all vol crew sorts for re-cy, bio-fuel comp, etc). 2. Finance - Solicit contrib from other nations; env grps Geenpeace, Sierra, Surf Riders, et al; philan corps + people. 3. R&D - lrg scale Bio-fuel manu (USN fleet conv?) Manu of products from discarded materials (more ideas).
