The Standard System of measurement is much more confusing than the Metric System. For example, "How many furlongs are in a mile?" Most people don't know the answer to this. However, the Metric System is easier for conversions. For example,"How many centimeters are in a meter?" Everybody knows the answer is 100. Also, the Metric system is based off of units of 10. Since it is much easier than the Standard System, I wish to see the Metric system in our everyday life soon.
