Convert the White House and other government owned buildings into shelters for the poor and homeless.

Created by C.J. on March 10, 2013

I figure it may perhaps be a long shot, but I think that instead of locking away the poor in prisons, we should give them a bed and a warm meal fit for a president.

What this would do in return would make White House staff, members of congress and other U.S. government employees jobless, homeless and poor. When these people can see from a first-person perspective what it is like for 1 in 6 Americans facing poverty, they may revise some of their policies that affect these people.
