Converting our nation to solar energy should start with our government. Create jobs and reduce expenses overtime.

Created by J.C. on October 14, 2015

In July of 2010 our Department of Labor spent over $1M in energy costs to power their buildings. Our government and federally funded buildings spend millions of dollars per day in utility costs to operate. Imagine every courthouse, city hall, public school, capitol building, etc. outfitted with solar panels, walkways, and windows. The cost to build would pay for itself over time while reducing/eliminating energy costs. Millions of dollars for electricity can be used for better things when we have the capability to. The conversion initiative would create millions of jobs across the country and remove our reliance on primitive energy sources. There has never been a man-made disaster from storing energy from the sun like Deepwater Horizon and we won't tap the suns' resources.
