The United Nations report of the Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights has documented severe human rights abuses by the North Korean government, including oppression of freedom or speech, thought, and religion; imprisoning children, forced abortions and infanticide, rape, forced disappearances, forced sex slavery, torture, and forced prolonged starvation.
We strongly urge the Department of State to engage China in diplomatic negotiations to convince them not to use their veto power on the Security Council to prevent Kim Jong-un from being charged with Crimes Against Humanity.
