Convince the FDA to ban the use of the chemical BPA. Many studies have suggested that this chemical is dangerous.

BPA is a chemical used to line the inside of canned goods, can be found everywhere and is thought to be linked to behavioral problems, asthma and obesity in children. Although the FDA considers this a product of concern they are not doing anything to stop it's use or evaluate it properly. I created this petition to ask the FDA to ban its use until conclusive evidence can prove it safe. We have a phrase in the food industry... when in doubt, throw it out. In cases where products affect the development of children why do we not take the same approach???
