Sir Paul McCartney was knighted in 1997. Ringo, as the drummer for the Beatles, was at least 25% responsible for their success - he deserves no less than a knighthood as well.
Unarguably, Ringo's post-Beatles career has been more creative and positive than any of the other Beatles, but thus far he has received no more respect from the Queen than he did from everybody in "A Hard Day's Night."
It's time to end the injustice, Mr. President, and you're the only one who can do it!
