Convince the Russian government to repeal a law that prevents US families from adopting Russian children.

Created by A.G. on December 28, 2012

On Friday, December 28th, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law banning the adoption of Russian children by families in the United States. The law was a reaction to the Magnitsky Act, a United States law that, according to the BBC, "blacklists Russian officials accused of rights abuses." In addition, CNN reported that Putin's law could halt the adoption process for hundreds of families.
To me, this is not a justifiable way to defend the abuse of human rights, but human rights abuses should not be tolerated regardless. Having experienced the domestic adoption process firsthand, I can tell you that it has created a whole new chapter in my life filled with love and wonderful memories, with much more still to come. You can allow hundreds of families do the same by singing below.
