Cooperate with the Efforts of Texas to Secede from the Union

Created by R.C. on November 24, 2012

WHEREAS Texas does not resemble most other parts of the United States in values or politics, and among many other things continues to be a drag on our Nation, and a hinderance to our continued progress as a people, and our development of an enlightened culture, and an obstacle to the advancement of science; and no longer wishes to remain in the Union; and the undersigned, quite frankly, no longer wish Texas to be a part of the Union, let it be RESOLVED that we non-residents of Texas Petition the President of the United States to cooperate in any reasonable manner with efforts to allow Texas to secede from the Union while protecting the civil rights of all who currently reside there, and allowing those cities and towns who wish to remain in the Union (particularly Austin) to do so.
