In order to ensure future improvements to infrastructure businesses and government should work together to create mutually beneficial policies that could help to raise funds for infrastructure improvement without raising taxes, borrowing, or printing additional money from the federal reserve. My idea follows the principal of give a little and pass it on. If the government petitioned the 10 largest corporations in the U.S. to donate money to local state governments throughout the union to use as capital for infrastructure improvements in exchange for temporary decreases in the capital gains and profit tax. For instance say the top 10 corporations each donated 10 billion dollars, the total would be 100 billion dollars, in 5 years that would provide half a trillion dollars in funds!
