America Left This Marine Behind
We the petitioners are concerned about the treatment of Corporal Jon Hammar by the Government of Mexico. We endorse the forceful action to secure his release.
1. In accordance with The 1961 Vienna Treaty on Diplomatic Relations, We petition the United States Government to declare the Mexican Ambassador to the United States, Arturo Sarukhan Casamitjana persona non grata, and expel him within 72 hours.
2. We petition the United States Department of State to immediately issue a travel warning that long-term, protracted conditions make Mexico a dangerous and unstable country. The State Department is to recommend that Americans avoid or consider the risk of travel to that country.
