Corral pharmaceutical companies and put some reasonable limits on runaway prescription prices i.e. $5,145 for 90 day rx

Created by S.L. on November 03, 2012

I want to see some reasonable government controls placed on pharmaceutical companies. I take a drug that is costing me $5,145 for 90 supply. There is no other drug made that treats my serious condition. Since this company virtually has a monopoly, the price continues to rise every time I fill it.
I have no other recourse and this drug is vital to my health. I've called local politicians but to no avail.
Many people are facing the same situation with runaway Rx costs especially people on fixed incomes.

Its a sad situation when people have to choose between food and vital prescription drugs they need reducing their quality of life..

The gov't controls other industries, why not pharmaceuticals? Perhaps they are too large contributors to lobbyists and political campaigns?
