Thomas Smith, Jr is a world war II veteran who's military record incorrectly has him listed as AWOL. He had been confused with another marine as the name on the document does not match his name on his file, as the name was signed "Thomas Jefferson Smith Jr." and his middle name is Joseph. Thomas Smith was being treated for a back injury on Marshall Island by the military during the time he was reported AWOL. Please review Thomas Smith's file and have it corrected. He has written a letter to President Obama as he has been unable to correct his file on his own.
