Thank you for calling Nigerians out to vote but your statement "To keep Nigeria one is a task that must be done" will be depressing and traumatic to our people whose children, women and elderly numbering in their millions were deliberately starved to death as a followup to that statement. It will be likened to a US President repeating a statement made by Hitler leading to the Holocaust. That statement is not a popular saying in Nigeria as your speech implied but rather a statement by General Gowon in a warfare which many regard as the worst genocide in the history of Africa. We therefore appeal to you to correct this error, to assure millions of Igbos in Nigeria that there is no renewed international alliance to put their lives in danger again. Igbo lives matter!
