The sea between Korea and Japan has been named as East Sea throughout the history with a lot of historical evidences. During the Japanese invasion, Japan tried to eliminate all the documents related to East Sea but there are still huge number of international documents named East Sea. The Sea is not a property of a nation. It is belong to all the country around it!
