At this time almost every application for disability is denied out of hand, no matter what the reason. This inhumane action harms thousands of people by leaving them without any means to support themselves, often for years on end, while they appeal and appeal again to the court.
It is time for the judges sitting disability hearings to be instructed to listen to their own experts as well as the doctors of disabled people. It is time for our disabled to be treated with humanity instead of disdain.
