Currently the Department of Defense requires cost plus contracts for Defense contractors because of abuse and price gouging. The WH needs to place caps on drug prices by implementing cost plus pricing on drugs where there is NO COMPETITION caused by patents. Drug companies would still be profitable without the excessive price gouging that occurs currently in this country. Estimated savings of over 300 billion dollars per year. This would be audited costs to avoid budget padding.
