With the current practice of the House and Senate gerrymandering and waiting out the term of President, and as a direct affront to the checks and balances of power agreed upon by the Founding Fathers, I petition the decent people of the United States of America to restore the ability for an eligible citizen to serve if elected for more than two consecutive terms. This law prevents any leader such as F.D.R from coming to power in any effective manner. When either side of a political party acquires too much control or powers it is the need of the citizens to be able to offset this power by electing at four year increments a president that can serve enough terms to balance out power. Join me in this pursuit to empower a government of the people, by the people, and for the people again.
