Deliberate, risky behavior from individuals, teams and entire organizations in the banking sector destroyed our economy in 2008.
It left millions of people jobless, and robbed many thousands of their homes. Amidst such deep poverty, our government told us that we needed to handover $184B to AIG so we could save the economy.
Or things would get much worse.
We took one for the team, swallowed our anger and pitched in to save the economy and our dreams.
Now, we have Hank Greenberg suing us for more money! In what world is this appropriate? This isn't about capitalism vs socialism. Or the 1% vs. 99%. It's about human decency, about having some principles.
Please sign the petition if you feel we should turn Hank Greenberg's absurd lawsuit into a teachable moment.
