This country should stop all payments and withdraw from the U.N. immediately. (2001 - $3bn paid to U.N. 2012 - $6bn)

In 2001, the United States paid roughly $3,000,000,000 to the United Nations. Today, that figure has grown to over $6,000,000,000. The United States alone accounts for 22% of the "regular" budget and 27% of peacekeeping costs. By contrast, China, which has veto power, pays roughly 2%. Great Britain has decided to reduce their obligations to the United Nations. Who will pick up that cost? I strongly reccomend that we stop all payments to the United Nations, and withdraw from the organization and use those funds to help support our interests here in the United States of America.
