Delinquent payers of childsupport, move to other states and the communication between states is slow. They don't pay their taxes. The Attorney General says their office can't report them and the IRS says that the Attorney General is the only one with authority the would recognize in order to start an investigation. Dead beat parents jump jobs take jobs that pay them under the table. If they don't pay the custodial parent must wait a month to have the Attorney General to send out a letter of delinquency and then they have to wait to send out a total of three letters for a total of three months. The delinquent parent still gets credit from companies even though they can owe over 40,000 dollars in child support. Even when they marry someone they are suppose to file joinly, they don't.
