President Obama's recent plan to cut $320 billion from the ten-year projected growth of Medicare and Medicaid should include an aggressive pursuit of fraud cases. Fraud is an annual $250 billion business, and at least $100 billion of that is siphoned from Medicare and Medicaid. This is the theft of taxpayer dollars by greedy corporations who are also playing with people's lives, sometimes with terrible consequences. I'm urging the Administration to hire the personnel it needs to prosecute it's fraud backlog and recover taxpayer money from the pockets of Big Pharma.
