Many rape cases never see court and far too many rapists never see justice. In this country rape is seen as something that should be pushed under the rug, but this is wrong. Rape is an issue that effects all humans, be it male, female, or transgendered*.
We must bring to the public's eye that not only can anybody be raped, but anybody can rape as well. It's not the victim's fault, as society does not teach us not to rape. We are taught that being raped is wrong, that you are at fault. This petition is here to bring awareness to all victims, and bring justice to those who avoid it.
All we ask is stronger laws preventing rape, more standard procedures to prevent rape, therapy for the survivors or sexual assault, and justice to those who rob another person's body.
