The growing percentage of elected officials becoming lobbyists is a problem. Finance, Defense, and many other industries have increased their abilities to influence government for their benefit while individuals are left with practically no voice. Elected officials should be banned from becoming lobbyists if the have served one term as a senator or three as a representative. Proposed to effect when passed, No "grandfathering".
