This practice is very wrong. I own and operate an industrial recycling company. I lived in a high rise and saw a large trash bin filled to the brim daily from the 44 story building. I then started with the Austin City Council, got nowhere. I then wrote my US senator to which I received back a letter about the BP oil spill, another time it was about border security with Mexico. I was embarassed for my govt.
I then went and had a meeting with my state rep's assistant who said this was a federal issue and a grassroots campaign was my only option. say what?
My neighbor is a coupon clipper and I am not. It should be my right to not get 5-15 pieces of junk a day that I have to go out of my way to recycle. It is my home and most people do not recycle and this is filling up our landfills.
