Our right to bear arms empowers us to keep a check on those who might seek to take advantage of us. However, far too often our right to bear arms has enabled innocent citizens to become victims.
A 1st tier gun positioning system would allow owners to know where their firearms are and if one has gone missing. Owners shall receive a modest tax credit for employing this system. The 2nd tier would make the GPS data public so others could be alerted if they were near a firearm via mobile application. Perhaps police are notified if a firearm has entered into a school zone at low velocity for over 30 seconds. Gun owners would receive an even greater tax credit for volunteering to employ the 2nd tier option.
This system would create jobs for inspection, software, and manufacturing.
