Create a 28th amendment to the Constitution, limiting the terms of Senators and Representatives to a total of 12 years

We have already seen an amendment limiting the number of Presidential terms to two (Amendment 22) due to the four terms held by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. In order to limit the powers of government and protect our God-given freedoms, we must also restrict the number of terms that our representatives can hold. This is because once one spends too long in a governing body, he becomes detached from those he represents, and more attached to his own interests.
That is why we must bring to the floor of the Senate this 28th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States: "That the number of terms that a Representative can hold shall be limited to six, and the number of terms that a Senator can hold shall be limited to two."
