Create a 28th Amendment which denies Executive and Congressional Exemption to any US law.

Created by J.G. on August 08, 2013

The "Affordable Care" Act has put the spotlight on the necessity that the citizenry require all laws created by Congress apply to each and every US citizen uniformly, and without prejudice.

For example: The President and Congress (among a growing list of others) are exempt from the individual mandate, yet force this unwanted tax upon We the People.

As citizens, we wish for all laws and their consequences (intended or otherwise) be applied uniformly to all US citizens, without regard to social, economic or governmental status. Perhaps requiring the President and Congress live under the laws they create would make them less eager to burden the People with these requirements.
