This petition is designed to prevent our 2nd amendment freedoms from becoming nothing more than a game for political points in an unstable political environment.
We the people call for a 5 year federal moratorium on all anti weapon and ammunition bans and laws in all 50 states.
The American people deserve laws made by rational politicians for rational reasons.
Americans have finally come to understand that Criminals do not obey the law. And therefore creating gun laws to make certain weapons and ammunition illegal has zero positive effect on crime and only serves to punish law abiding citizens.
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
