Clean energy doesn't cause cancer. Man-made pollution does cause cancer. Given the USA's #1 in the world for lung cancer, given that 50% of USA males will develop cancer and given almost 40% of USA females will develop cancer, America needs nation-wide, community-scale, economically resilient, sustainable energy solutions. In face of abnormally high cancer-rates, sky-high & climbing fuel costs, and bottom-of-the-barrel water, air & soil quality (while business-as-usual funnels Asbestos-class cancer-causing fuels on the same school-bus with children), we petition President Obama to incentivize community-scale solutions with a national, 50-state, annual Clean Energy Race to attract, publicize, reward and grow economically resilient solutions, exemplified by waste-to-biodiesel operators.
