Create the 51st state in the Union by giving the District of Columbia and Northern Virginia statehood as a united state.

The people of the District of Columbia deserve representation in Congress. The people of Northern Virginia do not deserve to have their tax dollars fed to Richmond and dispersed to the rest of the state with only a small portion returned to the counties that make up Northern Virginia. By creating a union of the two, one would achieve a balance between taxation and representation never seen in this area of the country.
