If every wage earner pays the same tax rate, the wealthy will still be paying more. Have all Legislature pay for their medical insurance at the same rate as the people that have elected them. We also need to make it easier for families to receive EBT. People making less that 50K per year, per couple still have a hard time buying food when their bills are stacking up. As a state employee, I know all to well how hard it is to make a living at these poverty levels (less than 22K). It's the same everywhere. We need to stand up and take care of our families in this country and stop taking care of other countries. Take care of us FIRST. After all, it is our tax dollars that are being sent over seas. This country was built on the backs of the lowly workers. I think it's time to take it back.
