Create an additional position within the Veterans Administration strictly to handle Individual Unempolyability Claims.

Created by C.W. on September 25, 2011

Do to the overwhelming number of veterans returning from the wars over the past decade, the Veterans Adminitration has been bombarded with new claims. Understandably, it now takes much longer for a claim to be processed and a decision be made, sometimes up to several years. Unfortunately, when a veteran's disabilities render him/her unemployable, it is very difficult to wait several years with no income. If V.A. would create a position to go through all of the Individual Unemployability claims, approve the claims that obviously meet the set criteria and pass the rest on to the trained teams that currently handle all claims, this would for very little cost, speed up the intire claim process, possibly hire several unemployed veterans and lower the homeless veteran rate drastically.
