Create an agency to regulate gasoline costs, prevent unusual and excessively high gas hikes

Created by R.L. on May 25, 2015

Earlier this year gasoline costs got down to around the $2.00 a gallon mark, now just a couple of short weeks later they are back up to the $2.70 mark.

The people call for an agency to regulate the gas industry (specific to gas stations) to ensure that we are not being overly charged, a sole regulatory body that overseas the cost of gasoline at gas stations across the country.

An agency that, gas stations would be required to submit quarterly reports to with Day-to-Day gas prices, an agency who has the authority to walk into any gas station when prices are high and demand to see proof as to why they are there.

There are regulations over nearly everything, but being as gas is such a valuable commodity this should be more closely regulated.
