The current system of state issued firearms licenses works far better than one could ever hope for with a federally organized system- with one small catch.. we can't cross state lines....
Even if we are perfectly licensed and can legally carry, own, purchase, sell, or transport weapons within our home states- the moment we cross state lines we become felons...
Now this might not be a problem for some people, who's neighboring states support and defend the constitution, but in most cases, the legal possession of Firearms becomes Illegal, even if you just crossed the Border for 15 minutes while running an errand.
We beg of you to create a system whereby those who legally hold a firearms license in our home states- will be recognized at a Federal level, and legal in all 50 states.
